Helping Schools Secure Funding for Immersive VR Experiences
Spirit of Triumph is committed to making transformative educational VR experiences accessible to schools everywhere. To support this mission, we actively help districts identify and secure funding streams that fully or partially cover the cost of bringing our programs to students.
Partnership With New York State BOCES (Suffolk & Nassau Counties)
In New York State, we proudly work through local BOCES, including those in Suffolk and Nassau counties. BOCES provides shared educational services and allows schools to access high-quality programs—like Spirit of Triumph’s VR experiences—at a reduced net cost.
Because Spirit of Triumph is an approved BOCES vendor, participating districts can receive aid reimbursement, significantly lowering their overall expense. Our VR program also qualifies under Art-in-Education, giving schools an additional pathway to integrate the experience into existing arts, literacy, SEL, and enrichment initiatives.
Eligible Funding Streams
Schools may be able to apply various funding categories toward a Spirit of Triumph visit, including:
BOCES Aid (NYS)
Art-in-education funding
District / PTA enrichment budgets
Local grants and cultural education funds
Title I – for supporting engagement, motivation, and enrichment in underserved communities
Title IV – for expanding access to innovative technology and well-rounded educational experiences
Outside New York? We Can Work With You.
Other states offer programs similar to BOCES—regional service agencies, cooperative education centers, statewide arts councils, STEM innovation networks, and more.
Spirit of Triumph is fully prepared to do the legwork to become an approved vendor with any applicable program or organization in your state. If you’d like us to explore what’s available in your region, we’re happy to take that on.
