TOUR OF AUSCHWITZ
360°
AN IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE
Feeling as If You’re There
The VR headsets enable you to be present at the camp. You can look 360° around you and even gain a bird's-eye-view with the help of a drone hovering above. You feel the earth and see the ashes. You're physically there; you hear your own footsteps.
An Impactful Experience
Follow the guide as he makes his way from the crematoria to the showers, from the barracks to the train tracks to the lineup area. Touch the wooden bunks. Experience the same emotional impact experienced by those who travel to Poland.
A Personal Guide
The moving tour of the camp is accompanied by the professional, fascinating explanation of Rabbi Yisrael Goldwasser, an internationally acclaimed speaker on the subject of the Holocaust.
Bearing Witness
The technology dissolves the distance between past and present, forcing you to confront what happened here without the protection of abstraction. You are not a spectator; you are a witness, carrying the weight of memory as you leave.
THE BACKSTORY
This groundbreaking project originated from an unexpected source in the world of modern media. Three Orthodox Israeli women had a profound vision to utilize the power of Virtual Reality to offer the Jewish community an authentic experience of visiting the camps.
Recognizing the practical and financial limitations that hinder many from traveling to Poland, they seized the opportunity to create a portable experience that could be shared with audiences of all backgrounds.
NEVER AGAIN IS NOW
One in five young Americans think the Holocaust is a myth. We are committed to ensuring that the stories and experiences of the Holocaust and other historic events are not forgotten, ensuring the importance of acting against hatred and injustice is immediate and ongoing.
THE IMPORTANCE
Holocaust education helps us understand the horrors of the past and reminds us to never repeat them. It teaches us about the dangers of prejudice, discrimination, and hatred, and inspires us to promote empathy, inclusivity, and respect for diversity.
By learning about the Holocaust, we can also honor the memory of its victims and survivors and ensure that their stories are never forgotten.
